Why charter here
The West Mediterranean, by yacht
Every summer the world’s largest superyachts gather between Monaco and Capri, and for good reason. Within a day’s cruise you can go from the beach clubs of Saint-Tropez to a deserted cove in Corsica’s nature reserves. Italy adds Portofino, the Pontine Islands, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Booking early matters here: July and August sell out first, and berths in the most popular harbours are reserved months ahead.

Where to cruise
Cruising areas
- 01
French Riviera
Monaco, Cap d’Antibes, Cannes and Saint-Tropez — long lunches at the beach clubs of Pampelonne and evenings in port.
- 02
Corsica
Bonifacio’s cliffs, the Lavezzi Islands and the Scandola reserve, with far fewer yachts than the mainland.
- 03
Sardinia
The Costa Smeralda and the La Maddalena archipelago: emerald water over white granite.
- 04
Amalfi Coast & Capri
Positano, Amalfi, the Faraglioni and the Blue Grotto — the most photographed coastline in Italy.
- 05
Balearic Islands
Mallorca’s calas, Ibiza’s nightlife and the quiet beaches of Formentera and Menorca.
